He retired from the United States Navy as a First Class Petty Officer Aviation Machinist mate Enlisted Airwarefare Specialist in August of 2012. He's a Native Wacoan and a graduate of Waco High Lion Pride '92, and currently the Officer of the Day (OOD) for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2148, Waco, Texas.

After many years of recruiting for the United States Navy, Miguel knew he was passionate about helping others live their dreams; what better way to live the American dream through home ownership?

At the end of his last years in the Navy, his brother asked him, "What do you think about being a realtor?" Miguel's answer was simple. "I have served my county for over 20 years; I'm ready to serve my community for a lifetime."

He is deeply involved with his church and community. In his church, he is a Worship Leader, plays in the band, and volunteers for his church's food pantry. In the community, he serves on various City boards, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the VA.

Miguel also considers himself a foodie, especially about seafood and Gumbo, and likes getting outdoors in Cameron Park on the hiking and biking trails.
